Go! Smell the Flowers will appeal for people looking to make a
change in their lives; from CEOs to secretaries and armchair
travellers. From the Winelands of South Africa to the markets of
France; a Machu Picchu proposal, a detox spa and a Buddhist
blessing on a Thai beach, it is a journey of discoveries with a
surprising and unexpected end.
TJ Davis seems to always be in a mess. This time is no exception.
He is not satisfied to be in just one mess, but three. He has some
thieves who want to kill him, some protection money mafia types who
want to kill him, and a disgruntled husband who wants to kill him.
He is held at gun point, car bombed, fire bombed, threatened and
even worse, he has an aunt coming to town to stay with him for who
knows how long. Thanksgiving is only a few days away and his
roommate has decided he wants to cook for the whole neighborhood.
However as usual he has his friends Pinky and Jane to help. His
girlfriend Lana is there also and that rounds out his little group
of crime solvers. As usual the author has thrown in tidbits about
wines and describes many of the old time establishments around
Dallas.
TJ Davis is a sales representative for a Texas wholesale Wine
distributor. TJ calls on Liquor Stores, Restaurants, and Grocery
Stores taking orders and making sales. He likes his job and he
likes drinking and selling wine. However, since he found one of his
customers dead things haven't been the same. Plus he discovers some
of his company's employees are stealing merchandise. He soon
discovers other companies are having the same problem. All of a
sudden his job description has changed. He can no longer stay the
easy-going person he used to be. The police suspect him of the
murder and they are determined to see him behind bars. He has to
clear himself and solve this murder as well as try to keep his
sanity while juggling the police, his crazy Italian sales manager
and his new roommate who cooks and parties all the time. Things
don't look good for him as he stumbles his way through murder
suspects, wine thieves, beautiful girlfriends, a crazy roommate,
irate customers, and a boss who holds his finger up to one side of
his nose and blows. Life can't get any worse or can it?
Once again TJ Davis the Wine salesman is up to his neck in hot
water. Trying to do a good deed and deliver an expensive bottle of
Wine he becomes involves in the strange murder of one of his
customers. He and the police are clueless as to why the killer or
killers wanted his patron dead. As usual, there seems to be no
suspects except TJ. Along with the police pursuing him, a couple of
thugs are also after him, but poor TJ doesn't know why. Besides
being a murder suspect, he is suddenly submerged in a kidnapping
and human trafficking scheme. What else can go wrong? He knows he
can't handle this alone. He will just have to bring in his red
headed roommate and his girlfriend to help unravel this mess he's
in. Will his life ever get back to normal?
There are still many secret codes and ciphers in the world today.
The Shugborough Hall Monuments inscrip-tion is one of them. In
fact, it is one of the top ten unsolved ciphers. For over two
hundred years, many intelligent men and women have tried to break
its code, to no avail. Without the aid of ancient cryptology
techniques and simple math it cannot be solved. Over the last six
years my brother and I have worked diligently to put these old
methods together to come up with a solution. Finally, we were able
to name the author of the Shug-borough Hall Inscription and what
his coded message revealed. The solution will surprise you, as it
did us. The name of the man who was the brains behind the
inscription is someone we have all read about in our history books.
